Forever Bettering My Lettering

I was not planning on creating anything for the #letterwest prompt by @homsweethom until I had an epiphany of how much lettering means to me in my gosh damned soul. Continue reading for all my gooey inner feelz:

I’ve loved lettering for YEARS AND YEARS but you definitely wouldn’t be able to tell from my instagram because for those years and years I was too crippled by my fear of not meeting an unattainable standard of perfection I had for myself that I would never share anything I created. Finally my inner voice said fuck it and just this year I’ve started to let go of that standard and share my work with the graphic designiverse, even if I don’t think it’s totally perfect. It’s felt so freeing to have people in the lettering and design community be so kind and encouraging, and I wish I had started posting years ago when I just started dabbling!!
