The Indianapolis Poster Series

The Indianapolis Poster Series
The Indianapolis Poster Series is a typographic interpretation of Robert Shaw's famous monologue from the movie Jaws.

The first poster treats type as text, using good typographic principles to compel its audience, while the second is completely illegible and visual, using iconic and indexical signs to tell the story of the horrifying and tragic sinking of The USS Indianapolis in 1945 that shaped Quint's (Shaw's character) obsessive hatred for sharks.
