AirBnB Augmented Reality

Augmented Reality (AR) seems to be absolutely everywhere these days, and after seeing some recent showcases on how Google want to make use of it, I wanted to take some of that thinking and apply it to AirBnB an application I use constantly and am a really big fan of. The idea here is to implement AR features within the AirBnB app, whereby users can utilise their phone cameras to see nearby AirBnBs highlighted with a pinging location marker. Swiping to the left or right will bring up other nearby AirBnB's and change the pinging marker to a new location. The variety of apartments or accommodation shown will change depending on where the user is, and what they are looking at, as well as being able to customise various aspects of their search such as search radius, and minimum review ratings, etc, using the settings option in the top right hand corner of the primary screen.

Selecting one of the cards along the bottom of the screen will then bring up further details on the accommodation for the user, where they can then proceed to book.

Overall I wanted a very minimal UI to focus on the AR side of things, however for branding I utilised AirBnB's colour palette of coral as well as a dark teal like colour, primarily using white so that the text and other details of the accommodation stand out.
