Florida Drawn with Bezier Curves

Art for an essay I published about how the Bezier curves affect modern day visual aesthetics.

Originally it was going to be a regular rectangular canvas, but I wanted to see how I could play with the shape of the pen tool. I drew the initial sketch during my last week at UF, sitting next to the lake near Marston Science Library. With the magnolias in full bloom and the cat tails by the swamp, I wanted to draw it up to remember one of the spots on campus that I fought myself so often.
