We need to be better as a design community about being mindful as we work, and then clearly communicating how we think about our craft to the rest of the world. Since starting this article, I've already noticed myself being more aware as I work, and questioning my decisions more thoughtfully as I go. I plan on writing more of these, and I'm confident it's going to lead to improvements in my work.
