Starship Animal Doctors - Meerkats

Last set of characters for Starship Children's Hospital Animal Pre Check Ups interactive wall.

I had a lot of fun designing these meerkats with that super cheeky grin!! By using Spine's 'skin' system we were able to do one set of animations, then change out what the characters were wearing to give the idea that although they are all meerkats, they're all different characters.

The Meerkats' interaction was a fun one, where the user touched a sensor to measure their heart-rate. As this was being read, the line of meerkats would jump in the air in different Mexican Wave formations.
