Blog Headers, Templatized.
Blog headers used to always take us longer than expected here at Digital Surgeons—we wanted to make a conceptual masterpiece for each article since every article is a unique piece of content created by a unique mind.
We took that desire to create a unique visual for every article and thought about how we could improve the rate at which that visual was ready to ship. The answer? A "template" (of sorts).
I say "of sorts" because it more of a system than it is a "template"—plus I just generally dislike that word and the connotations it holds. The system we put in place can be altered in different ways to share a similar look, but have completely different vibes depending on color, imagery and type.
Here are our three newest blog headers utilizing the design system we set in place for our super fresh content. I'm excited to continue exploring ways to keep each header unique, while having this structure as a guideline to prevent directionless rabbit holes. Cheers to solving problems!
