Starship Animal Doctors

These are the 'animal doctors' designed for Starship Children's Hospital interactive Pre Check Up wall.

The installation consisting of framed screens uses Xbox Kinect technology to sense user interaction, triggering animations that help kids to understand some of the routine checks performed by doctors, such as measuring your height, checking your temperature, breathing deeply, and opening your mouth wide and saying "AAAAAAAHHHHH".

I was lead character designer as well as animator for this job, so really have a soft spot for the characters, my favourites having to be the Lion and the Puffer Fish 😍.

This project was magnificent to work on, and it's awesome to know that my skills as an artist can help brighten someone's day.
