Ramen Tatsunoya

site design, logo, and branding our firm did for the first us branch of family-owned japanese restaurant ramen tatsunoya. we wanted to tie the brand back to a core concept to the family—the idea of 'kando', or reciprocal awe-inspiring in all aspects. we used two simplified bowls of ramen that come together to form something that’s altogether new, subtly reflecting the idea and using ramen and the restaurant itself to achieve some larger goal above or outside of feeding people food.
