Homage to Magritte pt.1

This series pays homage to one of my favorite artists, Rene Magritte and his piece, “The Son of Man”. In my recreation, I chose the birdcage because I feel like it is symbolic of any mental obstacle that can be a barrier to discovering one's self and dreams. On one hand, a birdcage can be a prison that keeps one from making the progress they aspire to reach. On the other hand, the cage can be just one hurtle or lesson that can be used to overcome an obstacle on the path to freedom.
