Simone’s Kids - Website

I've had the pleasure of volunteering my services for Simone’s Kids since 2011. Seeing the organization grow from a single vision to operating multiple schools for hundreds of children and been nothing short of remarkable.

After honing their brand identity and messaging, I began designing a new website with the goal of improving donation conversion, increasing speed, and providing greater flexibility to the team than was possible in WordPress at the time.

The final solution was build on Craft CMS, which I highly recommend. It is fast (and even faster with the latest version - Craft 3), insanely customizable out of the box, and built on the easy-to-learn Twig templating engine.

Additionally, I lead the scoping and implementation of a new payment processor – GivingFuel – which has reduced cost, significantly added to our donation capabilities, and improved the donor experience dramatically.

I am currently working on a second, much needed major update to make use of UX principles I've learned in the time since the original website was designed and implement the new Craft 3 methodology.
