Dracula Podcast - Stalwart

With babies, graduate programs, and travel limiting our time to create theatre productions and short films as we have for many years, the Stalwart team decided to try our hand at fiction audio dramas. With so many musicians among us, we felt at home in the studio and had the audio production chops necessary to bring everything together (or so we thought – turns out editing many hours of audio introduces challenges one never faces working on 3-5 minute songs).

Our first show is an adaptation of Bram Stoker's Dracula, starring the incredible voices of Lucas Zellers, Nate Spanos, Colin Luther, Aimee Auclair, Elise Parson, Bobby Moon, Chris Johnson, and Joel Derkin. We are deep into the sound design and editing phase of production on The Wizard of Oz (L. Frank Baum), and swear we will finally finish it this year (remember what I said about the challenges of hours of audio?).

The typography and color in the Dracula album art were based on the cover design for Stoker's original 1897 Gothic horror novel.
