IBM | The Design Genome Project
Another report for The Design Genome Project, another really fun illustration!
This week we added IBM to the list of companies doing amazing work in product design. Their design teams work across the entire business to drive speed, scale, and user-centered work via a framework they call “the loop.”
I enjoyed working with the idea of a hyperloop to represent IBM’s modern approach to digital product design and design thinking, and hope you also enjoy learning about their team’s “design DNA.”
The fact I found most interesting was that while all designers connect to the IBM Design practice center, they’re embedded inside their product teams all over the company—so IBM is actually a decentralized design org.
Enjoy our work? Feel free to hit “L” to show some love.
P.s. If you haven’t already, you can also check out other reports (and illustrations!) from Herman Miller, Pinterest, Capital One, and more.
