KitchenPal Recipe Page
Great to finally have the initial KitchenPal website up (https://www.kitchenpal.co.uk). As you can probably tell I'm still working on images and some content for a couple of recipes but I figured I'd launch it as it is.
I initially started this project around October last year. The biggest problem I always have when working on personal projects is not feeling they are good enough and ultimately never launch them.
So between October and now, I created KitchenPal, my new personal website (https://www.robsimpson.me) and a couple of freelance projects (http://childreychicks.com, https://depastorybnb.nl - these were designed by @David Sewell).
What's working for me now, is building my projects to a place where they are good enough, launching them and then improving them as I go. It helps having it out there as it keeps me accountable as other people know about them.
A little bit about KitchenPal...
I created this project largely for myself so I have a place to store all the recipes that I make and like. I designed it to solve the problems I have when cooking and as I use my mobile mostly for cooking; the mobile design was the most important part of the design, followed by tablet (as I sometimes use my iPad too).
I still have a lot more features planned (most pressing updates are offline support and a shopping list), but it's great to have it out there finally 😀.
