Shoulda Put a Ring on It

Beyoncé has been the most difficult of the avatars so far. It is challenging to make a well-known person recognizable with such a simplistic style, but Beyoncé's look has a lot of subtleties. Her eyes are very distinctive and it was not possible without adding eyelashes and eyebrows. The single line for a mouth was too limiting as well so I had to add lips. But the hair was the hardest of all. Drawing curls without actually drawing curls posed an unique challenge. Overall, I'm happy with the results and I learned quite a bit about doing faces in this style.

Set #3 of the Diversity Avatars collection, avatars 201-300 of 1,000, is scheduled for release on June 1, 2018. This set will include more celebrities, super heroes, historical figures, and cultures from around the world.
