HeySugar! logo design

HeySugar! is a side-project I launched here in Cape Town at the end of last year after I got fed up with how dating apps and online dating has changed the dynamics of dating.

Essentially what we do is match people's interests and then according to those interests host speed dating nights so that people can see and feel what real chemistry is like again.

My approach with the logo was to do something fun, lighthearted and a little sexy. The branding approach is also very much all about being real (our hashtag is #fuckdatingapps) and current, hence why I used black as my main brand color.
