Day 27 for #100poms
Today’s experiment: pom cluster #2! 4 fluffs linked through their centers with a tight string. Shaping these pom wads is a hoot. Learned that if one gets attached a bit crooked, it’s way harder to adjust the yarn to even things out. Also learned that if the spheres are different densities (same diameter, varied amounts of yarn), the balance gets thrown off and results in poms that wobble or spin around the center string and muss up the details. It stays together well otherwise, but I’m not convinced it’ll last—curious if running a dowel or wire through might help pomwad keep its shape longer. 🤔
