Gooper is Alive!

Starting today with Gooper, I'll be releasing some of my in progress type work on Future Fonts! 🎷🎨😱💰🆒

Gooper was drawn in adoration of goopy, swashy, fat faced, tight and touching old style serifs. It sits as a companion to Cooper, Bookman, and dry transfer/photo lettered era display type. You can read more about the process of making it over on the blog.

With the opening of Very Cool Studio (last year) I decided to cut back on using big ol' monopoly distributors. I've relied heavily on word of mouth, and because of that it's been slow going. I'll still be releasing "finished" fonts via verycoolstudio.com, but using Future Fonts provides me the opportunity to release more often and receive more feedback from you on which ideas should get finished. The support and love over the last year since releasing Cardinal Grotesque has been incredible—and I'm so grateful for. Here's to more releases, more often.
