Nixanbal
Nixanbal is one of the top Bulgarian websites for news and reviews of hi-tech gadgets.
A few years ago Kamen designed the first version of the identity and the website of Nikola Balov, so it was time for a slight refresh.
We restyled the logotype, set new colours and a bolder typography, that again combines sans-serif headings and a serif body typeface.
We put a lot of effort in adjusting the column widths, type size, line heights and colour contrasts in order to make the consumption of long articles easier.
Another important aspect we had to keep in mind while working on the IA of the website was the advertisement positions of Nixanbal's partners and sponsors. We researched what are the most popular digital ads sizes in Bulgaria and composed the layout in the best way possible, to make them fit naturally.
In total, we have designed 22 different pages and states for desktop, aside from the responsive mobile screens.
