I to Z

When I was born, I took my Mother's maiden name. A few years later, my parents got married. Ever since, I answered questions about whether or not my parents were "my real parents" or if my dad was "my real dad" or even if I was adopted. Never an issue to explain how things went down, but as I matured it occurred to me that my father deserved the honor of having his name passed on; especially since my mother saw it fit to take his name.

This logo, or icon, showcases my transition from Ives to Zarra. Ives as a kid that grew into a Zarra as a man. And since this story, my life, is not yet completed the arrow at the bottom shows me moving in the only direction I can move. Forward.

Thanks for reading.
