So apparently the word mistletoe means little dung twig...

Flashback to this set of Christmas cards I did for The Delta Companies. Proud to say that this project won an ASA Genius Award for 2017. Read more about this here: https://americanstaffing.net/genius-awards-2017/awards/12-holiday-hiring-fun-facts

The Delta Companies' clients probably receive tons of christmas cards every year and most of them are probably going to get thrown away or not even looked at. We didn’t want that. We wanted to stand out and do something different and edgy which represents who they are as a company. The solution to this was to create these fun holiday facts christmas card packs. Some inspiration came from the Pokemon playing cards and baseball cards that come in the cellophane packaging that you open up and flip through these cards, each one different but all of them working as a system.

We also created an email campaign as well as a website to go along with these cards. We chose 5 facts from the set and created a full graphic email to send out to our clients. The emails were sent out about a week before christmas, sending one out each day for five days (counting down from fact #5 to fact #1) Along with the fun fact we used in the card set we also included a fact about the search process DPP uses for their clients. Therefor they received these fun facts about the holidays but were also informed on what DPP has to offer. The emails were linked out to a landing page that was also created. The holiday fun facts as well as the DPP search facts lived on this page as well as contact information. The reason for creating these emails and website were to give more life to the card packs as well as having digital pieces to send out along with the printed material.
