Bring Your Kids to Work Day Activities

Each year Braintree hosts a Bring Your Kids to Work Day event in April for all its families. In 2017 we started a kid-friendly activity where the kids participate and learn how a payment is processed. Each "station" takes them through the experience from making a purchase with their very own pretend credit card, to visiting the acquiring bank, issuing bank, etc. They earn badges along the way and complete fun activities like designing & coloring their own money, dancing, asking their parents about their jobs, and at the end, they earn fun prized. A remote-friendly version was also created for all our remote folks or those who could not attend. The activity was put together by volunteers throughout the office excited to put on a fun day for the kids.
