KOOP Shirt

The folks over at KOOP 91.7 FM (Austin) had a t-shirt contest, and while I didn't win, I received an honorable mention.

Overall I'm happy how this turned out, as I'm really starting to get a grasp on my "natural" illustration style and not forcing things as much. He's a nice mix of Willie + Foghorn with some retro ass colors. This illustration was sitting unfinished in my "Orphans" folder for quite some time, and I was really excited at the prospect of seeing him come to life.

Maybe one day you'll fly big ol' bird.
