Logo Design - FREELANCE

Freelance is an online system that helps freelancers (designers, artists, and all other creative types) manage their invoices, time, projects, client communication, etc. in one suite. What the client imagined for this logo was just the text Freelance, they couldn''t think of any icon or symbol that would encompass all creative types nor wanted the logo to be a pen tool icon or some other graphic design specific icon. The client also needed the logo to be versatile in that any freelance person can connect with it and wanted it to be just a really clean type-based logo with their name.
The main idea for this logo was to show that behind every professional - the freelancer, using Helvetica as the brand's typeface - there is a spirit of freedom which makes him move, represented by a green backwards stylized "F" that resembles a wing.
