Savvy Trophy for Regex Crossword

Working on a redesign of the trophies for Regex Crossword, an online game I co-created with my husband. The game teaches people to use regular expressions by solving crossword puzzles.

This is the savvy trophy awarded when you complete the game's second level, which teaches you the more advanced regular expressions. It's seen as the graduation from the training part and is, therefore, represented by the character wearing a graduation cap.

The aim of the design was to make the trophies look playful and give them a pin style look. The character design is based on the idea of the squares from the crossword coming to life. Made with Adobe Illustrator.
