Silkie Stout – bottle artwork

Here’s the final label I illustrated for Loch Lomond Brewery, as part the rebrand created by @thirstcraft.

This one, for the award-winning Silkie Stout, incorporates the silhouette of a Silkie in the shoreline. Silkies (or Selkies) in mythical Scottish folklore were said to live as seals in the sea, but could shed their skin and take human form to seduce humans into the murky depths.
