Home Automation

I'm working on a smart-home-project right now and do some exploration about the look and feel as well as the idea behind the interface. I want it to be as slick but still as homy as it can be. I always try to find an anchorpoint for the UI such as "slick like ceramics" or "weighty as wood" and this is the first of course. This helps a lot with guidance within the UI-process. This one is all about shadows and colors to guide through the process. Looking forward to hear your feedback!
