Style is an Open Cage

When I first started out as a designer I used to look at my favorites and see their style as a trademark, something that separated them from the rest, something I envied. I was always told “create first and style will come as an afterthought.” Which is still great advice. However I’ve recently realized that I don’t want just one style. I want any and all of them. I’ve began to look at style as another tool in my toolbox. Each one crafted to get a specific job done.
