James Whales' monster classic THE BRIDE OF FRANKENSTEIN is my favorite of all the amazing Universal Horror Classics. It's a perfect continuation of the original, and leads into some fun and overly silly sequels and mash ups with other monsters, redefining franchise and shared universes before it was cool. Gothic cobweb covered castles, chilling atmosphere, engulfing fogs, spooky laboratories adorned with electricity pulsing conductors and strange concoctions, judgmental and frenzied villagers, deranged scientists and a lonesome monster seeking companionship. This fright flick has it all.
