Rough Sketches

Every logo and illustration starts as a rough thumbnail sketch. Here are a handful of rough sketches I've sent to clients over the years. Some of these made the cut and some did not. I feel as this stage is the most difficult stage of the design process. I spend most of my time coming up with concepts rather than executing approved ideas. Still really love some of these that were sent to the graveyard.
