Anniversary Lettering

Late in 2017, I was contacted through Dribbble by a client wanting to create a piece of art celebrating he and his wife’s first wedding anniversary.

My client had captured the couples’ first year of text messages, aggregated the highest occurring words and phrases, and wanted them turned into lettering. I created individual sketches for each phrase, arranged them digitally, and after approval of the layout from the client, I redrew on 40lb. Bristol.

This was a really great project to work on and pushed me pretty far to be unique having just so many words and phrases to bring together. Loved working on this one.
