SPEAKER #3: David Bailey

In 2013 David joined the BBC as Creative Director of the organisation’s Global Experience Language, (GEL). His team facilitate and publish the ongoing development of their shared design framework which underpins the design of the BBC’s entire online output.

BBC User Experience & Design (UX&D) create the layer of interaction that sits between the BBC’s online content and it’s users. Like it’s audience, the BBC’s portfolio of digital services is as large as it is diverse. Thus, UX&D adopt a human-centered design approach that responds to the needs, wants and limitations of each product’s end user.
