Player! Emoji

I got to be apart of Stadium Reactions project on Player! to recreate reactions, cheer and expression that are frequently used when watching a game. The visual designs are inspired from popular phone emojis for familiarity when expressing those feelings. The whole set includes clapping gesture, proud face, happy face, meh face, sad face and angry face.

In practice, the audience taps onto these emojis to quickly express their feelings about the game in live, and those emojis are thrown from their team side to the opponent side in the interface, recreating the real stadium team versus team type crowd in real situations. Some of our audience also calls this "Kaōge" (顔ゲー), like a challenge to flood their cheering for their team to the opponents.

Player!というスポーツアプリに、Emotionという機能が追加されました！
スポーツの試合を見ながら、アプリでユーザー同士の感情を共有できる機能です。絵文字のデザインは普段見慣れている絵文字を元にPlayer!にあったようにデザインをしました。
拍手・喜び・驚き・悲しみ・怒り、スポーツに欠かせない感情をすべて表しました。この絵文字をアプリの試合画面でタップすることができて、タップすると自分が応援しているチームから絵文字が飛び出して来るような仕様になっています。あるユーザーたちはこれを「顔ゲー」と呼んでいました…笑
