Oculus

Design for a Sailing vessel.
The concept is a combination of compass, ship wheel, and eye (Oculus). The logo will be used on apparel for the staff and the family, and possibly on the mainsail of the ship. The name of the ship is Oculus, that it represents the hole in the top of the dome of the Pantheon (in Rome) which is the way light streams into the structure. Oculus also means eye in Latin. Paired with a clear modern font, this logo left both me and client happy with the outcome.
