Live Match Data

I am designing/building a personal website for the World Cup 2018 in Russia. I really just wanted to play with some designs for one of my favorite things in the world, and increase my skills working with JSON data, javascript, and ruby.

This was one of the most complex designs for me because in order to optimize the presentation of data I needed to break from the common layout patterns. But it seemed to flesh out just fine. After countless options, I settled into these. I think they’re going to serve me and my friends well during the tournament.
