Abandoned Train Tracks

This 35mm photograph is of a broken control box next to an out of service set of train tracks in New Britain. Long out of use, the tracks and equipment left behind are subject to relentless graffiti and abuse from anyone who walks by. Taken on the wrong side of the tracks (literally), you always have to keep one eye on your composition, and one eye behind you when photographing in these abandoned areas.

Shot on Ilford HP5+ with my Canon AT-1, 50mm lens.
Scanned on Epson v550 and edited in lightroom.
