Exploring and sketching maps of Portugal

In these drawings, I was still thinking how to draw the country, and the relationship between what was real, and what I could do with the white space that was available. Also, the challenge was to compile the information I got about the administrative divisions, and organize it in a logical, and intuitive way. After a lot of research, and a lot of sketches, I came with a map to help me with this project.
If I get new information to improve or to complement this map, I will update it.
