Notifications Dropdown

Hello Dribbble!

This is a shot of the notifications system I designed for http://freshbooks.com.

I never realized how much work went into designing notifications until I worked on this project!

The final result is a simple and clean dropdown, but the biggest challenges were deciding what to notify users about, when and how.

Something I'm proud of is the addition of suggested follow-up actions on certain notifications, which help foster positive habits, like following up with clients or sending them thank you notes.
