Old Stanley

This is a 35mm photograph of an abandoned machine factory in downtown New Britain. The scale of the building is massive, yet the true size is lost when translated to a photograph. It is only when the tiny figure walking on the sidewalk in front of the massive structure is recognized that the perspective of this giant starts to come into focus.

Shot on Ilford HP5+ with my Canon AT-1, 50mm FD mount lens. Scanned on Epson v550 and edited in lightroom.
