Ken Saro-Wiwa
Personal project series, portraying iconic activist as playing cards.
Ken Saro-Wiwa led a non-violent campaign against oil extraction devastation of Ogoni land, with no benefit to the people. In 1994 Shell bribed witnesses to accuse him of murder, and he was executed by the military regime.
Saro-Wiwa was a lifelong writer with a series of popular comedy shows. "I know that I am a mortuary candidate. But I intend to head for that mortuary with my pipe smoking."
