Passport Experiment | Ceramic Tiles

As an experiment about digital networks I try to contact one person of each nation in the world. I ask all contacted people for a high quality scan of their passport to collect the tiny ornaments of the document’s paper.

Ornaments are transmitters of cultural identity: I transfer them onto ceramic tiles and create a big floor mosaic, so it will be possible to walk on it, like the world was flat. All tiles are the same, but each different and beautiful on the surface.
