Munro Mantra
A next-level health spa experience in the Scottish Highlands

Munro Mantra is a health spa which provides guests with an escape from everyday life and the opportunity to reconnect with nature and with themselves. Guests have the opportunity to practice yoga, explore the beautiful surroundings on foot, relax in natural pools, unwind with spa treatments and massages, and enjoy locally-sourced food and beverages, all in the idyllic setting of the Scottish Highlands.

With Munro Mantra, the goal is to create a place where guests can rejuvenate their spirits through connection with the surroundings: achieving wellness in wilderness. I was inspired by the rugged beauty and sense of adventure associated with a Scottish munro, and wanted to juxtapose this with the peace and tranquility of a traditional spa.

Throughout the design, I have used purposeful white space combined with the illusion of a broken-grid layout to further emphasise the contrast between the spa and its surroundings. The warm and vibrant colour scheme was chosen to complement the inviting photography of the area and activities. Ultimately, my aim was for the user to feel transported to the foot of a munro.
