Brandmark NJR

Brandmark I did for NJR - de Nederlandse Jeugdraad (Dutch Youth Council).

We did a lot of sessions building up the narrative that slowly lead to this sort of tribal mark.

It needed to be a strong bold mark, that could be embraced by the target group (youngsters of roughly 15-25 yrs old). However it shouldn't express "look at us, we are young, hip and happening".

So the values we expressed in this mark are very implicit. People see things like "freedom", "positive" "growth" or "world".

The most amazing thing is that this mark has even been tattooed on the arm of one of the people I worked with. Needless to say I've never had a client embrace my design in such a bold way đŸ˜‰
