While the thought might seem nice at first glance — after all, he just wants you to feel happy, right? — it's a common form of street harassment. In every instance, a woman’s presented with only 2 options: 1) smile, even though a stranger telling you to smile makes you feel the exact opposite of smiley. Or 2) say no/ignore him and potentially face his wrath.
