Tools Before Taste
I've been asked to do a wee pecha kucha at City of Glasgow College, which is fun!
I'm preparing my narrative for how I've got to where I am currently, and it's been an interesting time of reflection and mortifying regret looking over old work. Regrection.
I've realised though that I always learned how to use tools before I learned what I should use them for. Then the talent/taste came after. But because I'd learned the tools, I had less stumbling blocks when I started to develop taste.
Here's a wee doodle to represent these thoughts.
