Trek // PDP Exploration 3
This is one of my favorite projects I've worked on that didn't end up going to production.
The inspiration for this PDP design came from our creative director Omar. He challenged us to focus on a rich scrolling experience where no images are hidden in a carousel.
We took this inspiration and combined it with a new way of product storytelling, attaching a feature/benefit statement to every photo on the page, driving home to consumers what makes each bike unique.
After presenting this design to our leadership teams, the conversation quickly turned to how different the page felt from our site and other bike industry leaders. Focusing on content - great photography and product storytelling led us to a great design.
This iteration also introduced a sticky nav, which ultimately made it to production.
