COYC Belgrade 2018

I had a pleasure to create this logo for a competition that runs once a year by www.jaeurope.org . Over 200 students from 36 countries competed and celebrated top mini-companies from across Europe, only best will participate in the final stage in July at the city of Belgrade, Serbia; which makes it even more special :)

The concept for creating a logo relies on many iterations and several directions, until we hit this one — with focus on bringing two ideas together - 1. the logo of the JA Alumni Europe (which is an important part of the JAEurope, their outlined logo reminds on a diamond - which was the theme of logos for this competition during the years) and 2. a very famous monument in the heart of Belgrade, called 'Pobednik' (winner).

Those two create a clear impression about a traditional competition that will be held in Belgrade, July 2018.
