First Run Seltzer
New mark for a collaboration between Nod Hill Brewery and The Hickories Farm. First Run is a seltzer made entirely for the sap of trees from The Hickories farm. In early spring, water rises from roots to treetops in a waking forest. Maple, hickory, oak, and walnut sap is steeped with natural sugars and nutrients that have been stored in the tree’s roots all winter. Farmers at the Hickories and brewers from Nod Hill have united boots and hands to tap trees, collect the first run of sap, and preserve it in this can.
