Yosemite Conservancy Design Challenge #yosemitechallenge

Created in a 3-day challenge for #yosemitechallenge at Winter Workweek 2018.

The goal was to create a logo mark that is timeless, versatile, and iconic. It also had to lend itself well to an overall identity system that includes an illustrated badge and icon set.

John Muir is featured in the badge because he is the forefather of modern conservation and a critical figure in the establishment of Yosemite and the National Park system.

Naturally, as this was a time-constrained challenge, I wasn't able to refine this project as much as I normally would, but I still think the overall concept is strong.
