YouMap - App Store Icon

Mapping is a medium that leaves little room for text. Even twitters 120 characters would quickly end in overloading a users senses. YouMap pioneered new ways of bringing context to events on the ground.

This can be seen reflected in the design approach we took to our store icon. The dots are a visual reference to YouMap's color coded emotional tagging. This is just one of the ways we bring more context to the story on the ground, without throwing words at the problem.

The white bubble in our icon references our patent pending adaptive post display. This system which came together after months of trial an error is an example of functional design. We mimic the functional characteristics of a bubble to solve the hard problems of freeform social on a map.
